My husband’s cousin passed this recipe along to me quite a few years ago. They are a tad bit expensive to make, yet oh so delicious and worth the cost.
I’m quickly typing this up and plopping it on the blog, because I have lost the recipe more times than I care to admit! At least this way I will always know where it is. 💁🏼♀️
A note about the recipe. You can swap out the almond butter for an nut butter you prefer.
I have been know to skip icing for the top of this and eat it as muffin. It’s high calorie, but a very clean recipe and very filing when you are on the run and need a quick breakfast.
They also freeze well.
